I personally was hit head on by a drunk driver in a 2005 BMW X5 3.0. The driver was driving a commercial work van and he fell asleep behind the wheel and crossed into my lane at around 40mph. He hit me head on and not only was I able to walk out of the vehicle, I walked out unmarked. When the police arrived at the scene, they could not believe that I was the driver of the BMW since I was fine and had no marks on my at all. I believe that if I was in any other car, I would not have been so lucky to have walked away unharmed..
